This interesting route consists of hidden and established trails, moss covered slippery stones, bamboo tunnel, etc., allowing hikers access to green nature, crystal clear creeks, and great aerial view of Hebe Heaven.

Trailhead: Take taxi from Shatin to Wong Nai Tau (Kwong Yuen Estate) Bus Terminus

Trail: Wong Nai Tau > Fa Sam Hang > Mui Tze Lam > Wong Chuk Shan > Mau Ping >
Kei Pik Shan > Tai Chung Hau, Sai Kung

Trail end: Sai Kung Road

Distance: 6 km

Walking hours: 3 -4 hrs

Remarks: Part of the trail can be very wet and slippery. Don't wear sandals or you will regret it!

Weather forecast says tomorrow will remain great chance with rain at times. Unless you hear from me, the hike is still on. I like to remind you to bring along the following because part of the session is covered with bush and slippery path

1) Gloves
2) Hiking Shoes, not sneakers
3) Hiking poles
4) Raincoat
5) Fresh cloth for change afterward
6) Gaiters if any, cover instep and ankle, preventing rain permeated inside your shoes
